Oh so softly, it launches
One midsummer day in 2011, a small group of friends gathered together to eat hamburgers. But this was no ordinary summer barbecue - this was Burger Derby 2011. Six people with ten burgers from five different joints. We tasted them blind, savored every bite, and at the end, declared a winner. But that wasn't the end, it was only the beginning. Two of those friends saw more than just one night of revelry and feasting. They saw the potential for something that could one day change the landscape of the Internet for the betterment of burger enthusiasts everywhere. That day is today. As of right now, BurgerDerby.com is officially in open beta. We think we've done a pretty good job putting the site together, but it's far from perfect. We're counting on you very early adopters to use the site and let us know if we've missed something or is something doesn't work properly. Or if there's a feature you think we should offer that we don't. We are working on a number of features that we plan on rolling out in the near and distant future. There's plenty we have planned for you in the months and years to come. This is a very soft launch. We're not advertising, and we're not expecting an enormous flood of users in the first week. But Burger Derby works better when more people are using it, and we're relying on you to spread the word. If you like what you see here, tell on us to your friends. Nobody likes a tattler, unless he's tattling on something as awesome as Burger Derby.
